I'm heading to York on Saturday for a break of 5 nights,I've booked a brewery tour and the chocolate story but need to find a few other things to see/do nothing that involves heights or water smile.gif * +

its many years since iv been to york, seem to remember the minster having an early version of a jukebox, it had a mechanical swan inside. Also remember the shambles being rather nice. I know drifield aint that far from york as mrs T used to live there and she said she would hit york on a night out so it cant be that far. * +

From York? Not easily. There is no direct trainline anymore, you'd need to catch a train from York to Hull or Scarborough first and then change onto the Hull-Scarborough line. Not sure about buses, there probably is a York to Bridlington route that passes through Driffield but I doubt it'll be more than a once a day, certainly not a regular service. * +

stay away from central park, every time i watch crime tv show someone seems to get murdered there and there must be a mini bermuda triangle in new york as after every series of csi special victims half the cast would vanish dislike * +
