Behind this building in Bangkok there is a prison for holding people with visa issues , I've been here a few days trying to sort out my visa issues as I was stitched up twice on visas , my problems all started when a former soi 6 employer hung me out to dry by not getting my visa sorted and then tightened the screw on me with several head games pushing me further into overstay ,
Anyway this place is so corrupt , only money fixes any visa problems . I've met some ppl last few days and heard some story's ... in 2 weeks there has been 2 deaths in the prison , 2 people beaten to death one by the guards for apparantly refusing to wipe his as s after having a sh*t and another killed for refusing another inmate to fu*k ass,
There is a Australian women in there who went and reported her passport stolen , the police caught the thief and the thief admitted the crime but immigration police still locked up the Aussie chick because no passport = no visa , she's been in there several weeks now locked in cells with 70+ inmates in a room not big enough for 20 . You can not lay down or relax you are squeezed in like sardines , the only thing she has is her husband bringing her food everyday or she would just eat a bowl of dry rice barely enough to keep you alive . Once you are inside the jail you have no contact with anyone so can not help yourself in arranging money or sorting flights etc and no one at immigration or your home country embassy will help , your basically left to rot until someone comes to help and do the leg work on the outside , I've met a real nice guy here who's had to come to get his friend out after being locked up over 2 months in various jails across Thailand , if no one came to help him he would simply be left in there to die . All I keep hearing is contact your embassy they will help you . Ok the British embassy got my passport back after a Filipino visa agent stole my passport along with 28000 baht for a new visa ( which was a scam from day dot )
Apart
Visas not a requirement for people from SA entering Thailand
Same with countries of South America and the Caribbean
There's this policy. If you're making our citizens have to enter your country with the use of a visa, then expect the same happening to your citizens!! * +

I'm just not sure about the people from the UK.
We could go there with no visa but then things changed.
So I'm not certain if UK citizens have to have a visa (less tourist arrivals will result)
Swaziland lets anyone in. *
