Back in the days when we had a bakery, i used to buy cream eclairs, rock cake, Bakewell flans, fruit custard tartlets, Chelsea buns, jam doughnuts, gingerbread men, and various cakes i can't remember the name of.

In the '80s, Waitrose was in the shopping mall, and after shopping we'd go to George's bakers directly opposite. I'd get a cake every week after shopping. I'd get one every other day too, but had to fund it by spending an hour taking people's trolleys back for the 10p in them.. * +
