Is it just me, or do they not make these anymore?I kept seeing kids dressed as characters from old films yesterday, saw a child dressed as Freddy Krueger but they didn't look old enough to have seen Nightmare on Elm Street. It felt a bit like stepping back in time, to see scream outfits and the like. Way before these kids' time surely.. Is it just not fashionable to make scary films? Any recommendations for anything made in the last 5 years? Maybe I just don't know where to find them! * +

It the film is really good and Gerald's Game, I do like the new Annabelle Creation film.also Get Out is really good.
The new It is the highest grossing horror film ever. * +

A bit older than 5 years ago, but The Descent is good. About a caving trip in the Appalachians, it has a decent sequel. * +

When did horror films ever make a Sixth Sense? That's what thrillers are for. Hence, my preference to them, as mentioned in The Others horror film topic.
