Have you hit animals with your car? Have you been a passenger in a car that killed an animal?

Would you swerve to avoid one? Hit the brakes? Obviously check mirrors first, takes half a second.

I kept seeing dead squirrels everywhere I go. I have a soft spot for squirrels now and I find it quite upsetting.

Are people looking at animals like targets? Why are there so many!?

I have swerved and hit the brakes to avoid a rat, a magpie that didn't seem to want to fly away one time.. I can't even run over an already dead badger because I don't want their guts on my car.

Who the fu*k are these heartless c*nts smashing up the wee furries? * +

I spend far too much time on motorways. I noticed that England somehow manages to have a sh*t load more roadkill than Scotland does. Busier roads probably * +

a sheep once near barr beacon, it is reaction to avoid though even if it is an offense at times * +

I nearly hit about five pheasants every day, little feathery morons are everywhere around here. I generally brake or avoid animals if possible, not least because the stench of rotting meat coming from my car would be annoying. * +

Mental conditioning not to swerve bozz. A high speed swerve can make the vehicle very unstable and the chances of losing control are great.

yep been there * +

Last time a squirrel was on the road I took him home!

I know deer are deadly but well, you can always slow down! * +

Lot of red deer around here too, had to slam the brakes on to avoid having a stag on the bonnet a couple of weeks ago. Delicious bastards... * +

Hit loads lol. Especially when i was based in Brecon for a year, almost a weekly occurance hitting a sheep lol.gif also hit a badger at 40 mph a few years ago and he got up and ran off. I'd never swerve to avoid an animal, too many accidents happn doing this. * +
