Ribeye would be my preferred cut for steak, fillet is a bit of a waste of money really unless your trying to impress some bird. It's a girl's steak really, it's tender and lean but it doesn't taste of much because it's too lean, you need a nice bit of fat for flavour. I had a couple of nice, juicy 12oz rump steaks off the butcher last week for under a tenner, really tasty and they cut like butter. * +

Ribeye or a nice sirloin are my favourites. Only just started eating steak again and will have a good steak once a week. * +

Oh pardon me, I wasn't aware this was a dick waving competition.eyeroll.gif The price has absolutely nothing to do with it danny boy, it's a matter of taste, admittedly something of which you clearly possess very little and know even less about, in any sense. Showing off your premium plastic wrapped, factory processed supermarket bought meat like it's something special.
Take my advice, just spend the same amount on ribeye as you would on fillet, that way you'll get tastier steaks and there'll be more of itnod.gif, you can thank me later.
Oh and at least go to a proper locally sourced butchers if you're going to pretend to care or have a clue about quality meat. * +
