At least one gunman is reported to have opened fire at a country music festival being held on the Las Vegas strip.
Videos on social media show hundreds of people fleeing from the scene. The sound of what appears to be automatic gunfire can be heard insome clips.
Live footage from the scene shows a heavily armed police presence down the Las Vegas strip.
Multiple people have been taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. * +

just seen 3 videos of it nothing graphic but you could hear the gun fire and it sounded like a machine gun , not sure if its terror related as it is in america and they often get shootings * +

One suspect is down, police confirmed. Shooter or shooters fired into crowd from upper floors of hotel. 2 people have sadly died and there are multiple casualties. * +

Police saying they believe the neutralised suspect(thought to have been shot dead) was the sole perpetrator. Earlier reports of multiple incidents happening at other locations on the Las Vegas strip believed to be false. * +
