hey you oldskool lot, who remembers the old telephones we had back in the 70s?
you had to dial letters first then a few numbers etc, plus do you remember dial a disc and story line? The was a father xmas line as well and a weather and news line etc
hey and not forgetting the old public phone box was 5p or 2p to make a call

Ya so old school. Ya could get phone calls for free from a public phone box. And I think there was a free phone landline number you could use before the 0800 numbers came in. * +

therefore ya not up to scratch or speed and ya doe know fk all bout phone topic's and ya should keep ya b*tt out. And get another admin who is more older and experienced to reply to our messages instead. * +

The rotating electro mechanic dialer was fkn brilliant invention , my dear mum used to have a metal lock fitted on it to stop us doing fake calls

BT Trimphones , first had rotary dialer then the keypad ,both had radioactive tritium gas vial to illuminate the dial/keypad
almost all got recycled purely for the expensive tritium gas
