We're very close to the point where we can remedy all kinds of brain injuries etc using stem cells. Only problem being you could come up with a whole new individual, with perhaps shreds of the previous individual being present.

This thing makes me think of acupuncture or something though * +

It makes me think of the people who have made the soul-destroying choice to switch off o loved ones life support ...as much as it's a step forward in recovery for many it raises questions for those who have made a painful choice :( * +
