Next weekend i am heading for a military exercise in outback australia for 3 weeks. Am gonna run over the kangaroos thats for sure. Also a question for you aussies. Which one is better, optus or telstra? Also my biggest concern is cigarattes. Cigs is ridiculously expensive there and i just found out you can only bring in 25 STICKS of cigarattes which is absurd. * +

My plan is to buy them at my DFS and smuggle them through the customs as i do not want to pay the 120AUD or so for cig tax by the carton. How strict is australian customs? They already made my life difficult by making me clean my gears without any bits of sand or mud on it * +

Well 3 weeks with no cigarattes is harsh, its a human rights to smoke. That and 4G internet. * +

That is what i heard, some guys came to my camp the other day and wouldnt tolerate a tiny bit of mud on the sides of my boots and asked me to clean it. I wouldnt worry much if the country is poland or guyana. * +

Optus is a bit sh*t possibly, I think Telstra has better coverage. Yeah the smokes are a bit dearer now, the packets are also festooned with various cancerous organs and/or corpses. Enjoy. * +

Thats what i read shadow. Optus have better data plans but Telstra have strong signal especially in those areas where the nearest civilisation is 200km away * +

Its over a dollar a cigarette for the cheap brands these days. Also go with Telstra. Optus doesn't work in a lot of areas waste of money if you can't actually use it. And please do cull our kangaroos. People get so mad when we do it we need a scapegoat * +
