It was a T A training camp so they used to get all the crappie stuff. They used to get all the C rations that were wrapped in aluminium coz they found it was slightly poisonous so they couldn't feed it to regular squaddies lol * +

Tined food can last decades . have eaten tinned peaches 2 years out if date and they were fine. There is a guy on YouTube that eats army rations that are upto 70 years old and they are fine . * +
