A local farm owner has sold a couple of his fields to a power company who are now proposing to turn them into a wind farm... This has has been met by much anger from residents of the area and they've started a petition against it..

Well I have to agree with my fellow residents and I'll definitely be signing the petition...
This country is already windy enough and frankly I think that wasting all that electricity to power those huge fans, just to generate more wind is fking ridiculous! * +

Although it would mean I could hang my washing out to dry whenever I wanted and save money by not using the tumbledrier.... So it's swings and roundabouts I guess.... * +

very good things., you get.used to them and in just a breeze they really generating fk loads of fk , but fair play some have blown up goodstyle on storms. * +

hmmmm we have hydro here but them windmills doo look nice in distance ,maybe 16 miles away nearest industrial ones. * +
