Did you ever get Whale and Chips from Marfleet Fisheries on Hedon Road just across the road from the entrance to the docks? It wasn't actually whale but they were bloody enormous, you could feed a family of 6 on one portion piece of piss. Best chippy in Hull that was but they've closed down now sadly. All the old trawlermen used to go there.

I know the plaice. .never had whale and chips though. * +
