I thought the rules of ice hockey were complicated but with cycling you have one bloke who is the leader but has never won and another bloke who has won 3 but is not even in the top 3.

Because the bike race is split into stages, you can win a stage but have a really slow time in another stage, the person with the best overall time across all the stagrd is the one 'in the lead' * +
