To say somewhere is out at the 'Back of Burke'/'back of beyond' means it's a long way away. Or 'beyond the black stump' is another one. * +

Phrases aren't really done here. This town didn't exist 50yrs ago so everyone's from elsewhere, and whilst individuals use their own, there isn't really an established lingo. * +
