i saw someone saying the other day that parents should be fined and charged something or another if children under 7 are roaming around alone. but some parents here have to leave kids even younger than that to go work. no money for after care or crche etc. we need more free child care groups imo. * +

They give the culprits a character reference in court over here. Peaceful protests and marches can highlight but ones these days are opposite to the hippy marches....now many turn heated and property ends up been damaged etc....so people tend to remember mindless thugs smashing stuff up rather then a reason for the protest * +

A lot of marches include/encourage fundraising too, for support services, as well as giving victims a voice. *
