A nice house and garden in a not so nice area or a possible 2 bedroom flat and no garden in a better area? Im really strugglin 2 decide between the 2 , atm im in the 1st , nice house , lovely garden, but area really is horrible when u go out of the street..... i feel like im takin a step backwards if i move back 2 a flat , feel horrible on my son like he'll have no proper place 2 play i.e a garden.... i know theres parks etc but we spend majority of our time after school / days off playin in the garden and ill miss that and i feel like im takin somethin important away from him * +

People have said 2 me i should stay where i am coz its me that brings him up and ill stop him goin down a certain path which seems 2 b pretty common path in this area but theres only so much good parentin can do , some ppl go down those paths coz of outside pressures, and thats what worries me * +

I know what u mean about the garden, but yeah a good area is usually priority. I grew up in high rise flats though and hated it. Couldn't wait to get out of there. * +
