Ok.. About ghosts. How come so many cultures describe 'ghosts' as pale/translucent see through things? For instance, some aboriginals first thought the pale europeans they encountered were the ghosts of their own dead ancestors

In a local dialect the word for a white european: Kringkri literally means 'dead white dude'
