It would've been as tragic as Kanye West's effort. Not for being as bad, obviously. Elvis had an amazing voice and it would've been great to hear. But it's just not a piece that was his style.

It's a tune that took Freddie to get the best out of it. It needs the energy behind Freddie's voice. People who cover it just don't put that much into it, so it falls flat. And that's where Elvis would've failed.
