The 'Paki Shop' is mentioned in more than just the 'Hole in one' episode (Uncle Albert falling down holes!). In the first episode of that series, Del tells a kid to ''go and get an ice cream from the pakis on the corner''.

There are several other pc-brigade moments too, one being when Del tells Rodney and Albert they better ''hurry up and get to the Indian take away before the health inspector does.''

This was the way of the 80s, though. I personally never liked 'paki shop' but i'm guilty of calling the fish'n'chip shop 'the chinky'.
My sister-in-law is Chinese and i've avoided using the term chinky around her, though as i've always simply called chinese food 'chinese' it hasn't been difficult - her other half, my brother-in-law, is half indian and he says chinky though. I think he says paki shop, too. But then he can, because he's not an overly-sensitive liberal apologetic white guy.
