Have you ever turned the sound down during a movie and played music as a replacement soundtrack instead?

- Dark Side of the Rainbow and Dark Side of Oz are two names commonly used in reference to rumours (circulated on the Internet since at least 1994) that The Dark Side of the Moon was written as a soundtrack for the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. Observers playing the film and the album simultaneously have reported apparent synchronicities, such as Dorothy beginning to jog at the lyric ''no one told you when to run'' during ''Time'', and Dorothy balancing on a tightrope fence during the line ''balanced on the biggest wave'' in ''Breathe''. David Gilmour and Nick Mason have both denied a connection between the two works, and Roger Waters has described the rumours as ''amusing''. Alan Parsons has stated that the film was not mentioned during production of the album. -

I think they've got it matched up with the wrong movie dislike.gif but I guess you'd have to try it yourself to find out. Or just look at the runtime for both of them.. lol * +

The Indian guy busting the water cooler loose and breaking out during that last track might work! * +

The sound track of a film can be expected to suit a similar mood in a different film, but i think it can be pretty exceptional if done well - i'm thinking 'The Matrix' theme tune whilst the team in 'Terminator 2' are on a mission in the Cyberdyne Systems building, for example.. * +

I've not done what you describe,I wouldn't have the patience or attention span to sit, listen and observe those moments that seemingly match.
I did however, listen to a song last night performed by Chris Cornell, chords and timing of u2's ''one'' with metallica's ''one'' lyrics....
It wasnt actually bad. * +

There's a very good one on YouTube,it's Pink Floyd's The Wall played over footage of Trump's life. It lasts about an hour but is fantastic. * +

We used to play the radio over the top of a mute TV and laugh when it looked like the people on the box were singing the lyrics. I miss the 80's. * +
