Snow Day - Page 5/5

So an impending storm is upon us. As they like to call it, nor'easter with 12 inches of expected snow in the NYC area.

If we are lucky it should begin about 2am and lasting til 2pm on Thursday afternoon. To be honest, I'm praying for it so I could have a laze day wrapped up in bed drinking something hot or dry. Right, no good reason one would say, but yes, yes it's for a very good reason. I need to be stationary and carefree for one day. I've been cramming one month of work in 2 weeks. And if that isn't enough, my Starbucks latte this afternoon is killing my stomach. Just in case, can salmonella kill you?

I don't think I've wanted a day home so bad as I want this. Oh please let it snow.

Ive never seen snow..except on tv and in pictures..must be gorgeous..

Girl, same here. I've never experienced snow. But I have friends living in places where it does snow, and they are always moaning about it. Snow turns into a gross slosh really fast. Makes transportation a nightmare. It is - not the best, apparently. * +
