Can't believe this. Had family serve here, been on this base loads of times as a kid, i went to the school just around the corner. Can't believe they're closing the whole base down. Can't make head or tail of it. Just wtf. Discuss. * +

There's one up here, it's now a paintball playground. There's still bits of machinery and large satellite dishes and stuff. I'm sure they could have been used else where but apparently the cost to remove the items outweighs the value.
