It doesn't really happen, either way, except the odd polski who will say something to me in polski, expecting more than a partially blank bemused reaction.

Occasionally the car draws them. I'll be at a jet wash and they'll just appear out of nowhere, muttering something about some car they had years ago, just absconded from whatever role in random public life they're supposed to be playing. * +
