i originally used to think that women were the more forgiving gender,but it seems as though women really tent to hold a gridge much longer than a man.who do you think is more forgiving in general,whether it be major things like cheating or lying or minor things like saying something that embarassed your partner...who do you think is more is likely to forgive and move on. * +

This. I think it differ from person to person rather than gender.
I myself can get pass many things except cheating. I have never been cheated on and won't be because I don't do relationships, stay far away from men. But whenever I hear or just read about cheating I feel like something in me coming up. When I skip horrors and read a romance I first make sure there's no cheating. I won't touch such books. Whenever I hear colleagues discussion it...so just imagine if it should happen for real to me...noooo (shudders)
For me personally there's no second chance when it comes to cheating. * +
