there's a growing problem here,more n more people sleeping on the streets,in shop doorways etc.people are dying out there.what do u think could be done to help? What's to stop a group of us renting a property n taking it in turns to supervise,just to get them out of the cold for a few hours? * +

The nummber of homeless,street sleepers have sadly,inevitably massivly under the Tory government...as they intended. Yet Boris Johnson said homelessness in London will be a thing of the past by 2012. * +

If we house the homeless the benefits bill skyrockets. Nobody should be homeless or hungry in the UK. For years politicians of all persuasions have said they intend to end homelessness,food poverty,fuel poverty..why haven't they done so? Because they don't want to. Its a weapon. * +

Renting property..houses..requires being honest about who is staying there illmadme. I or we could rent a house but we would have to say who we are sub letting it to. Often that is illegal. * +
