I'm looking to buy a new seperates system. The last one i bought was 22 yrs ago..and a nice set up it was too!
Any hi fi geeks in here? Looking to spend about 800 quid. Wharfdale,Bose were..and still are great names,any others i should consider? Thanks in advance. * +

what are you looking to end up with, purely out of curiosity. CD, tapedeck and turntable isn't even so last century.

an amp you can stream to from your computer and speakers is all you need if CD's aren't going to be involved. probably find a surround sound system that can do that type of thing for you. * +

The minimum requirements from a set of speakers i must have is that they have or are capable of a window rattling bass response. Basically i'm not upto date on seperates anymore. * +
