The 1832 Women of Algiers painting by picasso said to be the spanish artists most important work in private hands was sold in New Work for 115million pounds in an 11minute auction battle between four bidders. Its not something you can hang in your front room to show your friends is it
I wouldn't mind having just one such painting... * +

@ tranie - 13.05.18 - 10:30amwent to the picasso exhibition in the tate modern yesterday and gotta say it was p00p. It had about 100 paintings and drawings of his and 99 '/. of it was shyte. There is no doubt he was a skilled painter as there were a few normal type paintings there of his wife, and kids and one or 2 of his mistress, which are very good. Over all thou i dont see the attraction in the expressionist works
