'UK government minister Francis Maude has changed the civil service code, making it tougher for government scientists to talk to the media. Now they must get authorisation from their minister before having any contact with journalists.' (wtf)
eeerm, well, presumably because government scientists keep disagreeing with tory policies.. usually on drugs and climate change. fking outrageous.

When the government chokes its own scientists, you cannot trust anything that comes from the government.
