BBC did a setup where a man 'grabbed' a 12 year old girl, taking his time to drag her kicking and screaming to his van...they did it ten times, on a busy sidewalk, nine out of the ten times, he got the girl, and drove away...nobody tried to intervene.....shocking footage, fake or not...just once did a guy 'rescue' her....I will lookup the youtube link.. * +

Thanx, I'm Afrikaans.....anyway, makes me think, what's wrong with people?.....their refusal to get involved might cost that girl her life, amongst other horrors..... * +

Ppl are afraid they will get attacked and because no one won't intervene along with them. It's insecurity. When you try to stop a conflict on the streets no one will join you. * +

After each scene, most bystanders refused to comment.....but it turned out they were afraid of getting shot, although the man had no visible weapons on him.....just a hood, and no plates on his blue van....... * +

I've intervened when a vicious sh*t was hitting and kicking his dog so be f*cked that I'd stand back and watch that. How well orchestrated was this set-up, though? A boom operator standing five feet away may've given it away. * +

On my own I would have been right on it - keys out the ignition and down the drain style.

But when I've got the nippa with me, I have to keep her secure, and can't get involved. * +
