I've been thinking about going on a little expedition up mount snowden this summer. I've been getting my camping gear ready and I've had to step everything up to be able to cope with the extreme weather and conditions that will be present. I got a new sleeping bag recently and it's soo cosy and warm. It's rated to go down to -8 deg C comfortably and an absolute maximum of -29 deg C. Also a lot of other stuff like thicker clothes, upgrading my first aid kit and buying smaller lighter cooking equipment and a new lighter rucksack. I'm gonna buy a mountaineering tent soon which is so strong it can cope with the strongest winds you can imagine. * +

It should be fun I think. A nice hike in lovely scenery then a couple of nights under the stars

Can you camp on snowdon? I cant think of any suitable place to pitch a tent on the actual mountain. * +

Be careful when wandering about on snowdon dear , i live near there , lots of people misjudge the possible dangers out there * +
