Live on BBC2 now. Not really been paying much attention to this for the last year or 2. They're now into their 4th or 5th(?) season I think and this is their 50th grand prix overall. The cars seem to have changed quite a bit and the batteries must have gotten better as they can now go the full race distance without having to change cars half way through. * +

The fact that it's as quiet as a bicycle is one of the things i love about my e-bike.
The fact that it's as quiet as a Lexus is one of the things people love about Teslas.

But no vehicle has the life of a petrol. Not even diesel does. And diesel has already tried and failed in motorsport.
There's nothing like the sound of the cars at a track. Motorsport is about atmosphere. Electric vehicles have none. * +

Both Audi and Peugeot have won the Le Mans 24hr race with diesel powered vehicles. If that's what you call failing at motorsport.
