A mischievous beluga whale gave a couple of kids the scare of their lives after charging towards them and then pulling back at the last moment.
The large mammal seemed to be in the mood for fun and games at the Mystic Aquarium, in Connecticut.
A YouTube video showed the beluga opening up its large mouth as if it was about to devour the boy and girl.
This elicited screams from the young siblings who jumped back, but time and time again they returned to be scared again.
'Makes me laugh everytime! so fun!, wrote one YouTube user.
But another thought the whale may have had more sinister motivations and added: 'If he had a chance he would eat one of those screaming little kids.' (for_sure)
