A mother of nine on 38,000 of benefits a year says she should not feel guilty 'for having children' and prefers not to use contraception.

Cheryl Prudham currently has nine children: six from previous relationships and three with her husband Rob. She has recently fallen pregnant with twins, and the couple will claim another 1,400 once their new arrivals are born.

Regarding the size of her family, the 32-year-old admitted to the Daily Mail it was never planned:

'We dont use condoms and me and Rob have never talked about it.'

She and her husband work part-time 20 hours a week as carers earning less than 1,400 a month, falling beneath the minimum threshold for income tax.

The couple had recently house swapped from a three bedroom property in Sittingbourne, Kent to a larger property elsewhere in the county.

The pregnant mother of nine has expressed her dissatisfaction with moving away from her preferred area.
