Hi guys I know that this is not right forum for this topic, but on technology forum I didnt got any reply, its kind of silent forum lol, so the thing is, today I found an old satellite reciever which wasnt in use couple of years, i took digital reciever from my telephone and internet provider. So today I connected LNB cable and scart cable to the reciever, and when I turned on reciever there was shown 'boot' on it. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Also tv scart channel is blank, usually when i connect it with reciever and turn it on, there is menu of the reciever shown. * +

depends on how old the reciever is ? it may be an analog recviever which is no longer being broadcast, the satalite moved to digital broadcast a while ago (nerd) * +

I think its a freeview, and its digital not analog, but Im not quiet sure how old it is.. * +

I think its a freeview, it doesnt have any prepaid card for certain channels, if that is what you meant * +
