Care, vale! Sed non aeternum, care, valeto!
Namque iterum tecum, sim modo dignus, ero.
Tum nihil amplexus poterit divellere nostros,
Nec tu marcesces, nec lacrymabor ego.

TRANSLATION.

Farewell! ''But not for ever,'' Hope replies,
Trace but his steps and meet him in the skies!
There nothing shall renew our parting pain,
Thou shalt not wither, nor I weep again.

I used to think that I could not go on
And life was nothing but an awful song
But now I know the meaning of true love
I'm leaning on the everlasting arms
See I was on the verge of breaking down
Sometimes the silence can seem so loud
There are miracles in life I must achieve
But first I know it starts inside of me

Every Rose Has Its Thorn...

Every rose has its thorn, amongst beauty there's always pain But we must suck it up, let it go, overcome and not complain Every rose has its thorn, but tomorrow is always another day Just forget about it, don't regret it, just say goodbye anyway In this life, nothing but love is free and sometimes love hurts Sometimes we try to fix, others ignore it, it only gets worse The pain that we feel, is always too real, and help is no good But every rose has its thorn, no one would help us if they could The world is a horror, but we must live here until the very end Sometimes it can be good, made great by having a simple friend But mostly it is bad, and even sometimes sad, it's nothing new Every rose has its thorn, and there's absolutely nothing we can do With the good there is bad, with the beauty there is only sad The good times are always soured, the happy always made mad With every rose there is a thorn, just to pr*ck us in the side... Every rose has its thorn, which seems to always sour the ride...

I Am Just Moving Along
Just singing
the same old song over
and over as the years just
fly by and are gone in the
blink of an eye.

Every new day
that I wake up I can't help
but wonder how much closer
I am to that day when
I will die.

No one knows
when it will come
and we cannot run for
time is a fire that we all burn
and knowledge is
something we all
yearn.

All we can hope for
is that we all learned something
along the many different roads
that we traveled as our
lives unraveled.

I learn something new
every day as I move along
invisible to some but
here to stay
and if you really knew me
you have been able to see me
somewhere along the way
as I try in my own way
to share this knowlege learned
with others for their use
some day.

I have learned
to stay strong to be able
to navigate the many different paths
and to shoulder life's wraths
so I could just keep moving along
singing that same old song
but I still have to cry without
even knowing why. * +

The fall . . . it's the last thing I remember. Memories tear apart my soul, consumed by the endlessly burning fire. My body turns again into ashes, revealing ruined bones.
I'm falling to the darkest place: where light causes pain and darkness brings solace, into a place which deprives one of faith and erases memories, which leads to madness and effaces the boundary between people and beasts.
The Red Goddess, her shrine shrouds all the memories, she is the key to the gate of unending agony. She is the answer! The Red Goddess - the road that I must follow..

Bumped for the month of Halloween. * +

The only poem I've ever remembered

Gnu
If every gnu
In London zoo
Disappeared forever
We'd have to say
That's the end of the genus
And now it's time for the weather
