I was at work. Its a very well lit industrial unit, huge, like being in a supermarket. A bracket on a machine was broken so I went to the spares room to find another. This room about the size of a small house, high enough to park a double deck bus in, very well lit. But the windows are black as its the middle of the night. There are stairs both sides up to library aisle style parts shelves. There are just a handful of us there, and I'm the only maintenance staff at night.. * +

..walking under the crane to get there, and felt really freaky. Like there was totally someone in the room. But there wasn't. I felt silly - I was scared! Wtf I haven't been scared like this since I was a kid! I started to climb the stairs and by now my hairs were starting to stand on end. I shook my head and tried to pump being daft. But halfway up and I was genuinely frightened.. * +

I was absolutely convinced there was someone on the stairs right behind me. Of course, there wasn't. And I flatly refused to turn around to look. But as I got to the top of the stairs, I was wired! Petrified by now, adrenaline was flowing, I was buzzing to the point of shaking. Like someone was right behind me, yet I knew there wasn't. * +

I've had a few experiences, one was me walking down a path with a field one side of the path and I heard my name being called a few times, I was looking around couldn't see anyone, kept walking, heard my name called again, looked around and saw a horse stood in the field looking at me. * +

Another experience I had, was on guard duty, 2 of us stagging on the sgts mess gate, I'd heard rumours before that a girl had hung herself years ago from a tree near the gate, my mate went off to walk around the perimeter fence as it was early hours of the morning and we was both bored, when I was stood alone I could smell a strong smell of perfume. * +
