Its downright rude though if they're not your kids - I take my daughter to the lake or park etc and dogs come up to her when they're not on a lead, the owners smile but I make it clear I don't feel the same. You don't have the right to experiment your trust with my daughter thanks. Put it on a lead.

She was 2 at the time btw, it still happens. * +
