be alot quicker to jus rip em off and buy new. wont cost much especially if you know somebody who can fit them for you. and youd be better off staining them before you fit them as it save's ur knees * +

What are you trying to achieve pw? Is it painted? Stained? Do u intend painting it taking bk to natural wood? Are your stripping or just sanding? dontknow.. * +
