as you all know i dont work. i had a appointment the other day with my adviser from the dole, she told me diff things like if she phones me n i dont answer il get my money stopped. ive been applying for a few jobs on line since then anyways ive already had replys saying thanks but no thanks but the thing is ive even offered to do it free for a few weeks to see if they like me or i like it anyways still no. just wondering if its my age thats putting them off, il prob be pulled down now but oh we * +

Depends what jobs you are applying for. Some employers want younger workers to train, others want experienced folk. Are you taking on extra training whilst you are out of work Adele?! (Hmm) * +

i was in a job club thing but thats fin now thats why i had to see my new adviser n she was saying ive got to take any job im fit for otherwise my money will be stopped im willing to do anything * +

you don't need to tell your age when you apply for a job... i had the same problem... age... i modified my CV, omitting my age and dates of education and early employment history... i got more interviews etc after i did that... and i posted my CV on several online registers, not just the dole one... i'm working now and still get calls/emails from agencies and employers who found my CV online, i've turned down 4 jobs in the last fortnight... keep trying and dont give up... (hug) * +
