it's no different from thatcher's day really. politicians are utterly removed from the day to day realities of lives of struggling folk. if they had to be seconded with a young family or a disabled person for example, they'd be horrified. but in Cameron's case he likes to portray himself as being in touch. but labour aren't much better and we do need to make cutbacks. only a radical change of emphasis in our society can benefit us now.. * +
