theres nothing to see in the sky in england all the good stuff is in the southern hemisphere , wasted s**t load of money on a telescope * +

I still have one that I got as a kid but its broken poor, I looked at a few but it is a lot for a good one and the british weather doesn't really justify the outlay. The hubble pictures on Nasa website are awesome though! * +

you should check out http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html there is a picture every day from the last 10 years or so, keep you occupied for hours yes * +

Also many of the big terestrial telescopes have live observation feeds so you can log on and look at whatever they happen to be pointing at, some even allow you to book online observation time where you get to choose where to point it! 2thumbsup * +
