with windows phone 8. existing wp7 owners can not update to 8 but will be able to update to version 7.8 in the near future. it will include wi-fi tethering but wp7 users will still miss out on many features in 8 including support for multi core processing and NFC wireless payment technology even with the 7.8 update. * +
