polo 011 is just being truthfull lol. the fact is wp arrived far too late to have any impact. when it launched the press made it out to be the best thing since sliced bread and the industry predicted it to be a massive success. I never believed it when I was reading it in the national newspapers. windows mobile lost customers to blackberry and android which is hardly surprising giving its dated interface. corporate types were attracted to blackberry instant mail and android which is a more open platform. * +

those customers had no reason to return to windows then and no reason to now. you could also argue that some blackberrys are easier to use than wp with them having a more convential phone interface. anyway iam surprised that nobody on this forum has asked if todays wp devices will get a free upgrade to wp8? obvious question to me but not a question anybody has asked as far as I can see unless I have missed something on here? * +

polo11, dude, have u ever heard of over-selling? I luv android too and would never go wp.. But with u going on and on abt how awesome it is is making ppl sick. cmon show some respect to other manufacturers and preferences of ppl. Ive always ownd sony ericsson phones. And with watever its shortcomings I still luv them. Its the same for nokia users.. So get over it. * +

WP8 would be a hit if they removed all the restrictions, considering that it is based on the same kernel that Desktop Windows 8 is! This will insure flooding of apps.. I hope! At the end what I'd like is having a WP8 phone with a port of Android on it. So that I can use both! * +
