I think they do it to give people those hard choices. I think they would rather people get bored of their devices easily and fork out for a new one instead of making something that'd take forever to get bored of and want to put down. * +

I actually agree with carta. I'm not sure if Nokia are going to stop updating the phone, but I am sure it will be something worth having. I don't mind touch screen, but I do love the QWERTY on my N900. Multi-touch is something I'm looking forward to, as well as some of the other features the device has. *
