better be a whole better than the n8. the only advantages I can see with the n8 are hdmi out and the great camera. other than that its a peace of cr*p. much slower cpu than competing smartphones, display no where near as good as korean smartphones, the operating system is pants compared to the competition and you cant remove the battery without getting a specialised screwdriver. * +

last I heard about the n9, the specs were identical other than a 1ghz cpu. if thats true its a waste of a release * +

N9 will be Meego, that alone makes it much better than the N8 and is the only phone outside Android which will be a true power users smartphone. I hope Nokia/Meego community support it with proper official updates. * +

identical specs? i dont think it will be a less res screen than n900, an its was 4inch last time i checked, and as polo said its meego and if its same as maemo then its the most open os there is. looking forward to the n9 but i might not rush in for once as i think when youve got something youre happy with 100 percent then why upgrade. also not looking forward to have capacative after owning n900 * +
