I am currently user of n82 and now there are rarely any new exiting apps out for s60v3. I am thinking of getting another phone but I am too much confused. I thought wm may be good solution but proton and others are saying wm is almost dead. I think wm got largest numbers of apps than any other platform. And what about n900, maemo5 device. I am sure its a power house but problem is I don't thin.... * +

...I don't think there are all essential apps required to migrate from symbian, especially I guess I would miss compressed browsing with ucweb, opera, bolt etc. Is there any app for n900 for that. And I heard new maemo 6 device will be out by this september. Will n900 support that os? And is android good choice? Is it better than wm and n900? If yes, in what respect! * +

Well id say you cant go wrong with Maemo or Android. I dont know about Maemo, but in Android we have Opera Mini and UCWeb,both are far more stable, fluid and faster on Android than they are on other platforms. What else do you want and use your phone for? I have read from a lot of ex S60 users that Email and exchange support are not so great in Maemo, but being Maemo that could totaly change at sum point thanks to its community. * +

In maemo, we got firefox, opera, Fennac, Midori MicroB and Chromium to name a few of the more popular and commonly used browsers, I dont think UCWeb has been ported across to it yet, but no doubt if there a demand for it then it will be. The N900 will have meego in sept/october but it unofficially supported by the community of users, nokia are releasing the N9 I believe which will be their.... * +

1st meego phone, as for emails there is various different clients you can use or the standard built in 1, that has its widget on the desktop, this is the 1 which I use as I dont seem to have any problem pulling emails from 4 different accounts with it. There is variety of desktop widget, from rss feeds, to the weather, from your battery power left, to displaying your IP address, scrolling thru * +
