After instalin a money manager application, my phone is acting strange. Rove file manager suddenly wants me to give it permition to access file to listen to messages. It never did this before. I have read somewhere that there is a splyware that ask the same thing. So I'm wondering if my phone got infected...and what to do. I know nothing about blackberry regarding spyware or viruses. Please help * +

at present there is no known viruses for the bb. that doesnt mean to say that the blackberry platform is invulnerable but at present it is highly unlikely you have a virus! what u are describing is the application permission screen. this screen shows on roughly two thirds of all apps that are installed on the bb. it is certainly nothing to worry about, in fact this screen is a part of the security * +

I don't have enough knowledge to tell a legit anti spyware app from one, that is in fact a spyware itself @witch1. Are you an experienced Blackberry user? @07_ps I'd believe it is normal but I have been using Rove for a long time and it NEVER did that. * +
