ok i can upgrade and my phone and i was gonna go for the iphone 4 then i seen the htc desire. I seen a few videos on youtube and it looks really good. But all iv seen are good things about if phone but i would like to know what the bad points are and if i do get it il be new to android (got n97 at the moment), or shall i wait for a few months. * +

bad mono loudspeaker, poor battery life but other than that its a great phone * +

Bad points would be lil things such as loudspeaker volume, a slightly weaker camera, lack of that 32gb mass memory and a major one is that the batt life wont be as gud as N97,but its not awful either. Overall going from a N97 to a Desire is a huge leap ,with loads more advantages,i say go for it definetly. * +

got 32gb on my n97 and cant even fill it, the more i put on it the slower the phone gets, might just put a 16gb card init if i get it * +

As far as i know sound is very decent via headset,and gud via loudspeaker,jus quiet compared to N97 speakers. There are multiple video players in Android that allow Divx,xvid,avi etc... high quality playback such as RockPlayer and YXPlayer,so yes you can play divx. The Desire is LOADS faster than a N97, so a 16gb card will be just fine. * +

no its not quiet its just the speaker is distorted on higher volume settings. worst thing on the desire. i think the camera is good. photos look stunning veiwed on the phone. * +
