I need to buy a smartphone, but read in other forums that many drivers wont load in windows 7. I cant have that, my phone has to function as a modem, it's the only way I can connect to the web, I eed 3G, I need GPRS. Does anybody know of a Smartphone with these capabilities that DEFINITELY works with windows 7? My prference is a Samsung Wave, any ideas on that? * +

My n900 performs this function seemlessly, so did my N96 etc, but with my experience, most if not all smartphones do this whether its the liephone, Sony X10, Nokia N900 etc. Tethering is intergral feature of phones as far back as I can remember * +

Thats the release candidate, that will of been sorted out by now as windows 7 been out since August on RTM. The release candidate (indicated by RC) is an incomplete OS that is out for testing and reporting bugs so as the final shouldnt have any problems (Vista being the exception here lol) * +
